[Melbourne, 6 January 2026] - Andatech has announced that its DrugSense OraScan Cassette V5 has been independently verified to meet the requirements of AS/NZS 4760:2019, the Australian and New Zealand standard for oral fluid drug testing.
The verification was conducted by Racing Analytical Services Ltd (RASL), an independent Victoria based NATA accredited laboratory with extensive expertise in drug testing. This confirmation validates the OraScan Cassette V5’s performance against key criteria outlined in the standard, including the specified cut-off levels and suitability for detecting drugs of abuse via oral fluid.
AS/NZS 4760:2019 is widely recognised as the benchmark for oral fluid drug testing in safety-sensitive and workplace environments. Meeting this standard provides organisations with greater confidence that the testing tools they use are fit for purpose and aligned with nationally accepted practices.
For Andatech, this verification marks a significant milestone in the continued development of its drug testing portfolio. It reinforces the company’s commitment to supplying evidence-based, independently validated solutions that support safer workplaces across Australia and the Asia Pacific region.
“Independent verification to AS/NZS 4760:2019 reinforces what our customers expect from us: reliable results they can trust,” said Irwandy Tan, Founder and CEO of Andatech.
“As Andatech continues to grow, we remain committed to backing our products with recognised standards and validation, so organisations can make informed decisions with confidence.”
This marks the second oral fluid drug testing kit from Andatech’s catalogue which has been independently verified to meet the standards, with the first being the DrugSense DSO8+ testing kit, verified for compliance in June 2023.
The DrugSense OraScan Cassette V5 is designed for flexible use, supporting both saliva-based screening and surface testing applications.
When paired with the OraScan Drug Analyser, it also enables digital result capture and reporting, helping organisations streamline testing workflows.
Andatech views this verification as a foundation for continued progress. It strengthens the company’s position in regulated and safety-critical markets, supports engagement with enterprise and institutional customers, and aligns with Andatech’s broader strategy of developing products that meet recognised standards and real-world workplace needs.
